
Our dedicated Appointee Officers manage the State Pensions and Welfare Benefits for people who have no capacity to do so themselves, set a budget, ensure their bills are paid and agree a personal allowance.
Our Appointee Officers are friendly and professional, supporting a wide range of vulnerable people including adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and older adults who are unable to manage their finances due to illness, disability or circumstance.
Our Appointee Officers are responsible for liaising with the DWP and the local authority’ ensuring individuals are:
- On the correct benefits.
- Making benefit claims.
- Making renewal claims.
- Paying bills.
- Setting a personal budget.
- Reporting changes in the individual’s circumstances.
