Mike has a background in managing in both private and third sector organisations and has held a senior management position at Independent Advocacy for eight years. He has the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, BCFS and he is both a SFEDI and ILM Gold Standard Business Advisor.
Alison has been an Appointee Officer for over three years with Independent Advocacy having previously worked as a care home manager for 6 years. Alison has a BA and holds a post graduate Certificate of Management Studies in Health. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the benefits system.
Alex has recently joined the team as an Appointee, prior to which his background included working in supported housing for 12 years. Alex holds a BA Politics degree and, away from work, enjoys sports, music and video games.
Maggie joined the charity in 2015, working as an advocate. In April 2018, she moved into the finance hub to take up the role of Appointee. Her previous work history was Mental Health nursing; having worked in the NHS for twenty six years. She holds a BSC hons degree in Health Studies.
