RECOGNISE AND CELEBRATE LEARNING
Open Badges are an open standard developed by the Mozilla Foundation to recognise, validate and demonstrate learning that happens everywhere.
Open Badges are digital credentials, created and issued by organisations such as schools, vocational organisations, companies and employers for their students, members, staff, clients or partners.
Independent Advocacy has it’s own Open Badge Academy that looks to recognise and celebrate our users, staff and volunteers learning.
We also want people to act as “Badge Mentors” for people undertaking a badge. If you think you could help somebody in this way Click on the button below
We have a selection of digital badges that recognise learning including:
Recognising a person’s learning in relation to creating and sticking to a budget
Recognising a person’s learning in relation to be able to “Speak up” for themselves
Celebrating a volunteer who has completed 50 hours volunteering
